At Full Stretch is a collapsible modular furniture system that can be reconfigured into a series of stools, benches or tables. If the user needs to adapt their living space when guests stay, it can be easily dismounted and hung on the wall using the peg system supplied.
Inspired by the sculpture of artist Kenneth Snelson, At Full Stretch explores the tensile and compressive force of Tensegrity in its construction. The ash stool base and legs are held together solely by the tensile force of elastic shock cords which makes for a quick and easy assembly. This process allows for a more appealing, playful and tactile approach to flat pack furniture construction, which leaves the user more engaged with the piece and ultimately with the company and brand.
